Heresy

Lazily slumbering
How much more lazy can one be?
Constantly stumbling
Stumble through a world no one sees
Crash into something sinister

I had this notion, an idea
We will drive this into the ground
We were stranded, caught red-handed
Hope and sleep are all we had to eat
Curse these infernal blisters

Whose fault is it if it's not ours?
Will true ownership heal our scars?
Let our bodies take their own shape
If no one stops us there's no mistake

...

Happily awaiting
A place with trees tall and green
Anxiously wondering
Can one stop these dreams from fading?
Missing the lucidity

Ditching the path, it follows us
It betrays us with lack of trust
Tired, thirsty, pained, and hungered
This fatigue invents us new words
The young language sounds so pristine
Even though no one knows meaning

Whose name is it stuck in our mind?
The one we all struggle to find
I've given up; there is no hope
But I find peace in how I cope
