Foreword

The way I see it
You either fly or you fall
You either win or lose in the life you have
But while you're living it's a whole different story

As I rest my case I rest my soul
It ain't 'bout where you from it's where you go
But I can't leave my past if I wanna grow
Butterflies and Dominoes, this my road
Cause when I rest my case I rest my soul
It' ain't 'bout where you from it's where you go
But I can't leave my past if I wanna grow
Let it flow, butterflies and dominoes

This is an ode to the low
On the The past and present
It's to the growth, to the road
Of the path I'm guessing
Another miss in the Fog
A lesson for my seconds of life to spark dialogue
Cause nobody knows
How this nobody floats
Cause I'm nobody's concern
And nobody I know chose
Everybody froze when I told my lows
So I guess it's my turn
To throw it out to my fellows
I've bled, burned and drowned for potential
Used 1 year catching up on 6 years of essentials
Lost my teenage years to depression
Asked myself "that question"
This is all just confessions
I've learned that suppression don't progress shit
It took way too long to accept it
So this album's to my past self
An amalgamated hope filled
Journey through the pain felt
To spark hope and maintain will

As I rest my case I rest my soul
It ain't 'bout where you from it's where you go
But I can't leave my past if I wanna grow
Butterflies and Dominoes, this my road
Cause when I rest my case I rest my soul
It' ain't 'bout where you from it's where you go
But I can't leave my past if I wanna grow
Let it flow, butterflies and dominoes

There's no doubt in my mind that the road ahead will be tough.
And there's no doubt in my mind, that everyone standing in that way, will run out of luck, uh
I Slept on this a little too much
But now I'm working, getting my life up
Open the curtain to the life of
Mike wills holding that mic up
You will see the fall and the fly
Where he drowned and when he changed up
Started out as small and shy
My surroundings got me all chained up
But I've only digged myself out currently
I'm just on same foot as the others be
Fuck poetry this is therapy for me
A labor of love from a life of misery
Poverty in a rich neighborhood started this victory
But we have to start at that injury
Spin it back
