It's past time to stop the madness
and increase the peace
Yes, I know that sounds a bit cliche'd
But I'm just being honest, ya see
Therez too many of us gettin killed
For reasons unjustified
We are decreasing in number by the minute
And that just ain't right-
The ways of this land
Got our heads, so messed up
That we strive for material wealth
Instead of improving our own self worth-
Focussing on things, that kan only bring
Temporary satisfaction-
Instead of living to fulfill a purpose
That will provide happiness that iz everlasting yes
Now I know soundz easier said than done
But I believe that it can be-
Our neighborhoods
Could actually become communities-
Where we help each other
Instead of hate each other-
Provide ways to enhance our surroundingz
Instead of assisting on the destruction-
Of our homez
The places that we az kidz grew up-
We have to stop fighting each other
and get the real enemy plotting against us
Kuz they are
Planning on our downfall
By way of our own hands
We have to, wake up mi People
And realize that we kan do
Whateva we dream of
If only we believe-
In ourselvez
And stop worrying
About the wayz of this World
And what it is caught up in
We have to get caught up in ourselves
and discover the true reason
Behind the purposes of our lives-
Then we can get on the right track
