I'm a work of AMBER AND RAIN
All at once forgotten, but refined
The loneliness adds value in time
I have walked a mile with sorrow at my side
And recovery and heartbreak close behind
Our shared lives, mistaken for sunshine

And the tragedy is knowing that
We won't know who we are
Because who we are is resting in
The knowledge of "whose" we are

Preventing me from finding rest
