Page 2: Mayflowers

In a hospital bed, alone
Mom and dad just left for home
So afraid of this great big world
I felt a pain like I've never known
Doc said I should've died last night
It's a miracle I didn't
Someone told me I should try last night
Told me do it so I did it
That night, I had lost all faith
Pill bottle, Adderall, popped all 8
Still breathing, while I'm lying on the floor
Found another bottle tried to pop a couple more
Uh, drowning in the, while I wait
Leaving it entirely to fait
Looking in the mirror in a daze
Couldn't even recognize my face
Heart beating so fast couldn't walk right
Wonder if death arriving on time
Tried to call the suicide hotline
On hold for 2 hours 'till I stopped tryin
Gave up, told my parents wake up
Said I wasn't dying but I said I tried to take some
Pills 'till I ate dust
Now I think an ambulance is on the way to save us

Everything is for a reason
There were times I ain't believe it
Tears going to fall like rain
Raindrops on my face
