North Side of the Sky

Dawn approaches clearing sky
Once again the night will die
The goal is there, in front of us
Alpine heights are marvellous

They stand majestic
On the horizon
We're amazed

The sun will push
Away the moon
From the sky

We'll be starting
In a while
Walking on
Our path
What expects for us
Is sun, sweat and rain
But we all want to reach
The north side of the sky

I look around with a sense of fear
I feel so little standing here
Crisp air is helping waking up
Let's have a coffee, another cup

As the path
Starts climbing
We slow down

But no fatigue
Can stop us
From goin' on

Marmots are
Watching us
Proceeding
While I
See an eagle flying
Right above our heads
He seems to guide us to
The north side of the sky

What a joy does fill our hearts
Standing on the top
Surrounded by the infinity
On the north side of the sky

From here the world seems all in peace
No sensation can beat this
I no longer fear to die
I've seen the north side of the sky
