And now listen to a very ancient tale
My grandmother in the evening sang me twice
There's a big cat who caught so many mice
Without having any mercy
When one day that big cat from the harbor
Went out for a short walk under an arbor
As he saw the dark family appearing
He jumped out here and there here and there

These are the songs my granddad sang me when I was young
