Je ne sais quoi,
Quite what I cannot tell you.
All matters of love
Were never my purview.
The slopes of enamoredness
I've never skied before.

Queen among Kings,
Lady of lessons learned,
Take history and
Into the future turn it.
Look to the past,
And you find something new.
You see my world from a
Fresh point of view.
I only ask,
"Could I become new?"

My life's a puzzle;
I think the solution
Must lie in your answers
To all of my clues, and
The letters you write
Can fill all of my empty space.

A Queen among Kings,
A Jack of every trade,
You Ace of Hearts,
Euchre's the game that we play.
The cards are dealt;
I'm partnered up with you.
And though I have no tricks
Your hand has come through.
I only ask,
"What am I to do?"

You're not
Gaudy in appearance.

Here to tug at heartstrings of men.
But still
You're my plaid-garbed Venus,
And a kinder face
I know there has never been.

You're like no others.
Head in the clouds;
Feet on the rudder pedals.
You're in control
So set your heading true.
Not even the sky's the limit
To what you can do.
I only ask,
"Could I be with you?"

You have excelled
At all that you've done, and

She of the Traffic Pattern,
Aim for the stars and
You might hit Mars or Saturn.
Out of the park
And into frontiers new.
Not even the galaxy confines
