We're cursed by the wind and its unbearable heat
We're cursed by spoiled food that we cannot eat
We're cursed by water that brings blisters and death
All our hoarded wealth doesn't bring us rest

They tried controlling man, but they all went astray

Taming wild animals that just bit back
Creating their own light that just faded to black
