A Dragon's Tale
A mysterious sight appeared in the sky. How awesome!
There was a woman. Her dress was the sun
She had the moon under her feet. The moon was so red
And a crown of twelve stars on her head
She was soon to give birth. Pain and suffering made her cry
The pangs of childbirth made her heartbeat fly
Then a huge red dragon also appeared up in the sky
He had ten horns, seven heads and he breathed fire
With his tail he dragged a third of the stars out of the sky
And threw them down to the earth to die
Oh, he stood in front of the woman who was now desolate and trying
As soon as a baby was born he would eat this very child
Then she gave birth to a son who would rule over everyone
But the child was snatched away, taken to God in his heavenly maze
And the woman fled to the desert for twelve hundred and sixty days
For the woman did fix Israel. The dragon ain't the beast
His name is Satan, the prince of darkness. It is preached
And Satan is furious for his time is now very short
Because Jesus will grow and save the world so it is taught
War broke out in heaven and Michael and his angels fought
Against the dragon and his evil cohort
But the dragon was defeated and he could no longer stay
In heaven with God's angels of the day
The huge dragon was thrown out. Yes, he was thrown out down to earth
And all of his angels with him to give him final breath
For the woman did fix Israel. The dragon ain't the beast
His name is Satan, the prince of darkness. It is preached
And Satan is furious for his time is now very short
Because Jesus will grow and save the world so it is taught
A loud voice in heaven said, God's salvation has come
For he has shown his power to everyone
For the one who stood before our God and accused us day and night
Has been thrown down from heaven to his flight
And so be glad you heavens and all you that live there
But how terrible for the earth, cause Satan's there, so beware
There was a woman. Her dress was the sun
