Peace

They used to doubt me back then I had a bigger purpose
I had to push my pride aside to be a better person
Wanted to reach full emergence I became observant
I had to drive through many curtains carry many burdens
I remember 6th grade I used to ride bikes
7th grade I had my break and had some lonely nights
I chose to keep it to myself even in despite
Of the damage it would cause but It would be alright
Because it pushed me to the man that I am now
It taught me how to live through and never stand down
My mother always told me that I would would stand out
I just hope I that I don't fold and go the bland route
They say that stars never finish last
They told me always keep your focus on the present and never the past
And now the past is behind me
There's long ways I gotta go to success I hope I find peace

I hope I find it and more
I hope I die in peace when I figure I'm done with these tours
I lie asleep with intentions of waking up having more
That's why I'm working, so my bank account won't be at the floor
I see the way these rappers move, and I choose to be better
I ain't even on yet but I feel I'm ahead of
Certain people that don't value life and have a vendetta
Against someone that you feel like disrespecting your grammar
I'm in a field of snakes and praying no one wrap around me
I'm dodging everything that's tryna lock me in the county
I told some people that I rap and they all tried to clown me
Until I showed them what I do and now they wish they found me
Before I felt like I could blow up off the way I'm sounding
Recording verses in my closet so people around me
Can say they good for life cause Jaylen on a higher mountain
Searching for different views
Searching for different views
Man I hope I find peace too
Judah I feel you but I feel that time may come soon
Woah
I hope I find peace too
Judah I feel you
