Peregrine’s Secret Compass
All roads lead Home, some say
And all Times are now, this day
And all Beings are Us
And all Lands we must
Visit
The weather vane need heed four winds
I wrote my way to this
Are we distinct or part of a pattern?
Ear-marked guide right up to heaven
Ship's manifest will lay them bare
The treasures that you will find in there
Uncover a full trove of gold
Make heads and tails of Tales of old
Magnetic force will pull me back
Pull me here and send me there
You'll know When
And I'll know Where
To tell the Story we need to share
Sometimes reason fails us
And sometimes instinct wins
The Instrument will point a path
Arrow waving without wrath
The Monist's compromise
Sees we have Souls
And Dualists sacrifice
Their goals
To hope that we are not alone
Even when I knew not where I went
She knew to take me there
Hooked her arm in mine and sent
Her arm to point: you will know where
The Peregrine will hold a
Secret Compass to her heart
And there's an art
To gliding on air and trusting when to start
Override some things you learned
To Learn what you don't know
If you hear the Zephyr sing its Song
You will know where to go
Longing past
And misty then
And rivers rush perhaps
Hold on fast
Batten the hatch
First Mate is by my side, at last
Hold on fast
Batten the hatch
First Mate is by my side, at last
Hold on fast
Batten the hatch
First Mate is by my side, at last
Hold on fast
Batten the hatch
First Mate is by my side, at last
Hold on fast
Batten the hatch
First Mate is by my side
Hold on fast
