Story of the Ark
This is a story - all about a righteous man
At one point, he was the most faithful in all of the land
See, ever since Adam and Eve disobeyed
Humans continued to sin - God was sorry that He made 'em
So He came to Noah, gave him a heads up
Told him that he would flood the world, but he would save him - yup
Told him to make an ark out of gopher wood
And since Noah had faith, he did what he should
450 feet long, 75 feet wide, 45 feet high and a door on the side
Three decks! Lower, middle, and upper
God did this so that Noah wouldn't suffer
Noah found favor in God's eyes
So God made a promise with him, his sons and their wives
So, Noah went to work doing just what God said
He even preached righteousness, but people sinned instead
Noah, Noah, Noah build the boat
Build it big, build it strong and make it float
If you wanna be saved, then come on in
Grab two of all animals and let's begin
Noah, Noah, Noah build the boat
Build it big, build it strong and make it float
If you wanna be saved, then come on in
Grab two of all animals and let's begin
In Genesis chapter seven, they got into the ark
On the seventeenth day of the second month, it got dark
The water broke through the ground just like a fountain
The water got so high, it covered the tallest mountain
Everything outside the ark was wiped away
It rained 40 nights and 40 days!
For five months, the water stayed on the earth
But before Noah could get out, the water had to go away first
God blew His breath and the waters went down
Noah sent out a raven to have a look around
He also sent out a dove to find dry land
But the dove came back when Noah stretched out his hand
The next week, he sent the dove back out
It came back with an olive branch in its mouth
One more week, the dove didn't return, a sacrifice Noah burned
God was pleased so He gave Noah a rainbow in turn
Noah, Noah, Noah build the boat
Build it big, build it strong and make it float
If you wanna be saved, then come on in
Grab two of all animals and let's begin
Noah, Noah, Noah build the boat
Build it big, build it strong and make it float
If you wanna be saved, then come on in
Grab two of all animals and let's begin
