Brought to You by Beer (Commentary)
I had the idea of Brought to You by Beer because you see that, uhm
You see that title on commercials and stuff
Brought to you by this or that and
I just thought that it would be cool to write a song
Of all the things you get for—you know, a night of drinking beer
All the crazy fun stuff that happens all the way to the next morning
The uh headache you have so
We uh had a good time writing this one
And we were laughing while we were writing and you can tell
You know just being out on my radio tour playing it for the folks live acoustically
You could tell they were reacting to the lyrics which is always a plus as a songwriter so
It's one of my favourites, it's the party song on the album
You see that title on commercials and stuff
Brought to you by this or that and
I just thought that it would be cool to write a song
Of all the things you get for—you know, a night of drinking beer
All the crazy fun stuff that happens all the way to the next morning
The uh headache you have so
We uh had a good time writing this one
And we were laughing while we were writing and you can tell
You know just being out on my radio tour playing it for the folks live acoustically
You could tell they were reacting to the lyrics which is always a plus as a songwriter so
It's one of my favourites, it's the party song on the album
