Behind Closed Eyes

Take my hand and escape to my subconscious state
Beyond the influences we often cannot shake
To a land you've never seen with open eyes

Entering your eyes as you drink in the light so majestically
For I knew the candle of purpose existed among the rubbles of reality

Most relapse and visit me often for reassurance

Valleys of heartbreaks
Deserts of abandonment
Forests of incarceration
Oceans of love
Into the sky of contentment
I could not feel any more pleasure as I
Traversed through your thoughts of reality
Playing with the hands of time as I seduce her to do my biddings
Making her dance to your vision
Our waltz moulding your future with every step
Our laughter painting a blue sky of
Perfection that gives you a shudder of ecstasy
Oh, I can feel the surge of energy course through your body
The joy pumping into every blood cell leaving your heart
Giving you a reason, a reason to be
The rubbles of reality that lay around
Your well-lit candle are your building blocks
So don't be afraid to let these gates come down again
