Divineflow

Once upon a time
I took the shape of the body you see in front of you right now
A stagnant pool of water unmoving
Unchanging
Unaware
Storms have passed
Floods have crossed
Raining down opportunities
And filling me with potency
Until I filled to the brim
And escaped this vessel I never knew existed
My potential became limitless
My future was at the will of my thoughts.
I am formless.

I flow unceasingly
But I do not know that I am who I am
I am everywhere yet nowhere simultaneously
As I have never left relative to the grand scheme of time
These containers cannot hold me for long
I become too familiar with my surroundings
As I harvest the land and reap it of all its knowledge
I become hungry for something new
So I pave my journey into the unknown
Ironically I am moving closer to the Source, my origin
Yet I have forgotten everything when I
Began from a fall down the mountainside
With an impact so shaking
That even the universe cried for the descent of a rising star.
Just listen to the heavens cry...

Glistening with my inherent nature
I fill up the spaces that intrigue
Me with its history and oral stories
With its tales of great floods that have
Replenished the everlasting cycle of life and rebirth
And so I settle in, soaking, learning, growing
I always thought I found home with each settlement
That the here and now is where I will be
Until the sky calls me up again for
Another migration through the Heavens above
But little did I know that my subconscious urges had other plans
Plans of becoming a travelling merchant
Mingling and exchanging knowledge with the formlessness around me
Taking refuge in the unity of all the individual drops surrounding me
Riding the same waves that form this intricate
Basket weave within which we are all intertwined
Some of my settlements have tainted me with a burden I had to wash off
But the experience and lessons learned have been inscribed internally
Other settlements have filled me with gushes of warmth
Hot springs of growth expanding my potential into even further reaches
Giving me the gaseous feeling of elation
As I elevated myself to higher planes of spiritual existence
Of awareness of the beauty that never had a need to be found
Because it was always there
I have heard faint whispers that
Claim I have separated myself from myself
Just so I can learn to love myself as a
Whole and admire this reflection of what's within

And just like water
We take the form of anything we choose,
Or the label placed upon us
But the truth is that it is still water
So never forget our true essence Kings and Queens
Never forget that we are Gods
