One Word Answer

I didn't think that it would be all that much of a crime
But I've been wrong before
And I can see how I'd be wrong this time
You open your mouth and spit something out
All I can think to do is sigh
I give you a one word answer
Expecting an essay in reply

Don't take it out on me
It's not cool to be passive-aggressive
And at some point it just becomes mean
Why can't you just say what you mean?

Stop being so obstinate and give me an answer

It's called a dictionary—there are many words in there
Maybe you could try some of those
