Hero Purchase
When you feel as if everything is gonna fall
There's a hero that's climbing up onto your wall
Watching you for miles, seeing you progress your crawl
From the hospital hall to the sweet pool
Back in high school, she broke all of the rules
Nihilism ruled, it was to her downfall
Her heart couldn't take what her brain was telling it
And other people made sure her skin wasn't thick
I've been feeling her pain, writing her mental letters
Probably didn't catch the hints, not to her pleasure
In her mind, she'll be feeling this forever
I'd rather take that pain and make her feel better
But it's not that easy and I am not qualified
To step into the reign of her fire
My eyes will be burning like her smile
It was a rare sight but it was worthwhile
Ripping out a page, giving her the whole book
Made eye contact, swear it was the first time she looked
At me, hope I'm not obscene
Hope she doesn't think I'm causing these crime scenes
In her mind, I'll find she thinks I'm fine
Conflicted with multiple thoughts at one time
Her alarms should go off like clock chimes
With a taste so familiar like chive
In my mind, I don't think I'm causing issues
She's probably thinking "how would it feel to be in his shoes?"
I'm tryna be a saviour like when crying eyes need tissues
I don't personally know you but if you were to go, I'd miss you
She's thinking of a comeback if I ever were to say that
She's always thinking of what people think of her behind her back
Well, let me tell you, I've always thought that you look flash
Never had an insult for you 'cause they'd all fall flat
You can tell what level I'm tryna take this to
Trying to help her 'cause she isn't rude
In fact, she's more reserved, which makes her seem more true
She's tryna properly ride down this life flume
But it's not working out and I can see that
Her mind's at the bottom of the barrel, proletariat
You can tell that she's tried to snap back
At the people making fun of her and stealing her knack
She's got a lot of potential, she's not a know-it-all
She wouldn't put herself on the highest pedestal
She doesn't think that highly of herself at all
Poor with the concept of having a good life ball
That's why I think she's thinking of someone to save her
Keeps telling herself she's not a good game player
Would never think of herself as being that major
Tryna pick herself up and get some life flavour
I can tell that she's got a lot of mind credit
Probably hoping she wouldn't have to spend it
But she needs to bring her life together and mend it
It's sad how buying all of our heroes is relevant
But I guess that is the world we live in
She is like apathy, the image is spitting
Get on your feet and dust off those old mittens
Your life ingredients aren't limited to the kitchen
For herself, anyway, she needs to start dishing
Because that life spice is what she's missing
Once she gets that, her life will start clicking
Or maybe not, I'm not a teenage girl
The only thing I know, no progression in this world
She's stuck in the ground with immense turmoil
Her attitude reflects on me like tin foil
At least I can trust on her to be loyal
It's sad how buying all of our heroes is relevant
It's sad how buying all of our heroes is relevant
But I guess that is the world we live in
It's sad how buying all of our heroes is relevant
