Too Many Friends (How Many Lost)
Have you got a feeling that your friendship is receding?
Listen closely, she's 'bout to go through the same thing
Not that uncommon, it's in fact a common trait
Among those who keep and dish out hate
But this girl ain't that, my conclusion: she's a special case
Not as in needs but as in the air she breathes
As she's in a rut and it is someone that she needs
To pull her out and show her that at least someone believes
That she can make it out onto the other side
With her best friends standing closely by
Unless they decide to leave her dry
Is it the fact that she's dependent on crying?
It's just a mechanism, it's just a way to cope
But you suppose she's losing all hope
Might as well delete her number off your phone
Because the way that you see it, you just never know
You never know what's going on behind closed doors
The way that I see it, she's no longer yours
This is a display of breaking friendship laws
You're supposed to stick by her, every cause
No breaks or no excuses in fact
The disrespect level has gone up to max
It's a bit mad how you've come so flat
While you see that she's out there winning no laps
She feels like a fraud stuck inside a bookstore
Surrounded by all the pretty ones
She couldn't get the courage to move to the top floor
Without your support, she's completely undone
I thought it was supposed to be the push and pull
Getting help from friends and moving them all
Forward, pushing them to be too cool
But now it seems as if you broke those rules
Or were they even in place anyway?
Hating her even more on a day-to-day
Why do you make sure that she strays
Further away? (It's not okay)
She'll further deny anything that seems fake
Even if to normal people it's okay
That's the stuff that you do to her brain
And you've probably made others not so sane
Basically, it's a waste
Basically, it's a waste
Basically, you've come down to a place
This ain't a healthy place to be staying
Basically, it's a waste
Basically, it's a waste
Basically, you've come down to a place
This ain't a healthy place to be staying
Basically, it's a waste
Basically, it's a waste
Basically, you've come down to a place
This ain't a healthy place to be staying
Basically, it's a waste

There's too many friends (How many lost?)
There's too many friends (How many lost?)
Yeah, there's too many friends (But how many lost?)
There's too many friends (How many are lost, lost?)
Listen closely, she's 'bout to go through the same thing
