Now the Good Kids Are Missing Out

Everyone knows she's not a life pro
What they don't know is that she had to crawl from a hole
Just to be here; like glass, it's clear
Is there anyone that she fears?
Maybe the authorities can take hints
Or a sign of swear, take this
Those staff members don't want lip
Truly and honestly, it hurts these kids (like her)
No one knows about the night prior
But if they got told, they wouldn't think she's a liar
It's just what they might expect
These kids, they all put her in check
But like, in the worst way
Can't fathom coming in these days
Now she just wants to do what she did last night
Can't do it in class, way too bright
Stop and think about what might happen
If you're caught backing, if you're caught blacking
Out; in class, in terms of her arm marks
Only one type of mark you should show to class
Get your suspicions up, get chatting
Let's talk about the thing that happened
And how there might be someone
To appear out of nowhere and give her a hand, imagine
Imagine the consequence
Mind dominos fall down like a sequence
Down the stairs and up again
Now would be a good time to have a friend
Meet the end, it's not her end yet
Jumping up steps like she's jumping up the frets
Waiting for someone to open their arms
And let her in (wait, who's that there?)

Is she still one of the good kids?
Is she the only one the school has left?
Everyone else has fled to the left (and the right)
We still see creeping at night
On the part of her, or what?
No one else can fill that slot
Waiting for someone to lock all the locks
She's closing up the "good kid" shop

She's still waiting
She's gonna have a best friend
She's just too unaware
She still thinks that the world's unfair
There's gonna be someone
To come and lend her funds
Invite her to come undone
Many things will come undone

Well then, back to the Hell program
Not the only one to fail this land
Still waiting for the show of a hand
When will she get what she's planned?
Just as she's thought of that
One of her peers notices her sense of flat
Don't know why it took this long
But he just wants her to feel more strong
Invites her out to this house
Starts talking to her to get her to loosen out
And it might just do the shout
No twist, we'll see that flip
Starts debating if it's worth the trip
To this guy's house or the crib
He says the party's gonna be heavy
"You should be there", he says, "get ready"
We'll see what happens then
But I think she's now found a friend
Found a friend with a hand to lend
Could this girl be on the up-mend?
This is what she's been hoping for
Excited, didn't need to pause
Didn't think of the consequence
Just wanted to go hit that bet
And because she went and hit that bet
She's no longer part of the good kids
None of them go and do this
Maybe she was desperate in bliss
So, as she says bye to the good kids club
She never forgets where she came from
But she's moving up in her world
And this boy's too, we'll see it unfurl

Is she still one of the good kids?
Is she the only one the school has left?
Everyone else has fled to the left (and the right)
We still see creeping at night
On the part of her, or what?
No one else can fill that slot
Waiting for someone to lock all the locks
She's locking up the "good kid" shop

Finally left that space
Into another one, but she's no ace
Play those cards, that's a disgrace
At least she feels happy in her place
As she goes to this party
She never considers what could be dark
In the door, not on all fours
Moves inside the abode, don't pause
