Dear Diary
I'm a father at last
I shed many tears when I held his hands
He held mine and he looked into my eyes
Gave a small yawn and an even bigger smile
I'm praying that God does protect my son
On the road that he travels and he never gives up
I wanna be there for him every step of the way
When he's down show a better way
When surrounded by clouds bring a sunny day
When he burdened by doubt how to release the weight
Unconditional love is what I'm feeling
For this miracle from above that is living
I know that life is rough and the going gets tough
I hope he know he not alone
He'll always be enough
Stays away from women who will break at his limits
Kill him in his spirit like it's nobody's business
Treats women like queens cuz they royalty
Stays humble like a king
That's how it's supposed to be
Doesn't condone violence but truly walks pious
Learns how to speak and when to be silent
Finds friends that are going places
Show love to all the races
Yes even to the racists
I pray he be a great man
A leader not a follower
Unless he's following someone great
A giver not a borrower
I hope he saves his money cuz debt is a trap
Travels the world
Globetrotter of map
And finds love
God it's all about the love
Isn't scared to show emotion
And stays clear of drugs and liquor
I hope nobody calls him a nigga
