Won't let time just pass me by

Alotta the times we have hopes, dreams, and wishes
But we never put 'em into action
So it's about time we change that today and make something happen

Sitting in my room contemplatin' what to do next
So many moves I don't know which one to choose next
All I know is whichever I do, I wish to do it best
Fight through, refuse to lose, with no one to impress
Except, for myself, and my need to progress
Keep on pushing using the fuel that's beating through my chest
Also look for ways and things, that I can do to rest
'Cause at times I don't and beat myself up, for doing less
But I'm always in search of a better view even through the mess
'Cause challenges only arise, to put us through a test
But as long as we stick with our truth, ain't nothing to confess
As long as we continue to with faith, ain't nothing to stress
Keep on moving at ya own pace, no need to look left
Comparison does nothing except, become your joy's theft
Then you wonder why you feel like, you living in distress
All these wishes take space in ya mind, cause you ain't do em yet

Tired of just sittin' and wishin'
I gotta make decisions

I don't wanna be the guy that says he always saw it
But never lived it

Always had a burning desire
But never did it
Those the ones that quit it, 'fore they took a chance to begin it
Never took the time to work through their fears
So they live within limits
Gotta stay clear of the gimmicks
'Cause it's easy to snatch you, from a dream you been gripping
All it takes is one time, just to catch you slippin'
Just one negative thought, could send you spinnin'
That's why at times it's good to have someone help you flip it
Someone you can talk to, understands you and gets it
Only share a portion with em, they automatically with it
Values ya time, and never force you to split it
So if you got a vision, remain committed and stick with it, uh

Only thing you can guarantee, is time continues passing
And if all you do is relaxing, then you risk losing ya passion
I would hate to ever have to see you trapping

Laughing cause you masking all your true reactions
Feels like you just crashing

Emotions start attacking
Wishing that you would unpack it
So why not address the baggage?
Giving all these cold shoulders, but telling me not to jack it
Almost as if hiding what we truly feel's in fashion
Putting on a front, even though we know it ain't matching
Trying hard to pull it off, but the fit's looking tragic
Hoping and praying one day it'll go away like Magic
But we manually whip into shape this ain't automatic
